Profile Frau | Celebrity profile - Leilani Hermiasih or nickname Lani or also better known by his stage name Frau (born in the city of Yogyakarta, Yogyakarta, precisely on May 2, 1990). Frau is a singer, pianist, and songwriter whose nationality Indonesia. According graduate Antrolopologi, Faculty of Humanities, University of Gajah Mada, Frau name this is the stage name that refers to itself (Lani) and also his piano which he named Oskar.

Lani or Frau S1 studying Anthropology at the 'Faculty of Humanities, University of Gadjah Mada' in 2008-2012. And in 2013, Frau obtained a scholarship magister Social Anthropology (Ethnomusicology) at Queen's University Belfast, UK, in the Indonesian government's scholarship program run by the LPDP [1]. International academic contributions started in the research project 'Mapping Belfast Musically' led by the students of Queen's University Belfast and is also featured in the conference 'International Council of Traditional Music', which was held at the Centre of Irish Studies, NUI Galway in February, 2014.
Career
Lani is a musician, pianist, singer and songwriter who can be very expressive when on stage. Since in high school, he has created as much as about 18 songs that tell about everyday life.
In the course of his music, Lani or Frau faithfully accompanied by Oskar, name RD700SX Roland digital piano made in the 1990s hers. Frau studied piano since I was in 1st grade and stopped khursus start secondary school. He also had time to learn a musical instrument like a bass guitar. Although already won several awards, but Frau said he did not want to fall asleep in the music industry, by reason of her music is just a hobby only. The other reason is that Frau did not want to interrupt the entertainment industry studies because she plan to continue S-2 so graduated from S-1.
Frau admired musicians like Chrisye, Vina Panduwinata, Zoo group of experimental rock-band from Yogyakarta, Regina Spektor, Joanna Newsom, Feist, Joni Mitchell, Fiona Apple, Tom Waits. Suzanne Ciani, Andrew Lloyd Webber musicals and Ben Folds Five.
